Am I missing anything from my baby’s nursery?
Cot – but she won’t be using it for a while as I have a moses basket for now.
Moses basket – so she can sleep with me for the first few weeks in my room.
Bedding
Rocking chair- It used to belong to my great grandmother and has been past down.
Chest of drawers – full of clothes, obviously
Changing table.
My great grandfather’s trunk – Being used as a toy box as we already have a mountain of things for her. Mum found my old train set from when I was a baby and that is in there plus other things
Storage baskets – belong on top of the chest of drawers and hold things like cloth diapers, flannels, etc
I feel like something is missing. My mum thinks I have gotten everything I need but I can’t help but think something is missing.
It’s wasn’t a mistake. I don’t have a husband. I’m not married. I still live at home because I’m 16.
That seems like most of the big items, I’m guessing you already have the small things, that’s about what’s in my nursery, crib, dresser, changing table, rocker, nursing supplies…pump, pillow, cover, etc. Then the storage baskets for diapers, lotion, powder, diaper rash ointment and the like, I have a few pictures and other decorations on the wall….hair bow holders and such and I’ve covered all the outlets already just to be a step ahead…..her nursery doesn’t have a closet so I have a wardrobe for her hanging clothes…then there’s a lamp and nightlight so I can check on her easier without turning on the big bright light that’s right over her crib….so yeah, it sounds like you have it completely covered…..oh and a monitor, I’m guessing you have that too, but I would definitely get one if not to hear her easier when you do put her in her own room!!! CONGRATS!!!
