That makes fun of model railroading

Model Railroading is a great hobby for children and adults. I did since I have school. I've always been interested in thumbnails of the age of 3 years. There are all kinds of work scales with O, HO, N, S, Z, etc HO is the most common. HO scale is 1.2.1 (the acronym half O). Scale HO is what I use for mine. It seems to work for me and that seems to have more accessories available for my design.

When I was a kid, I had a TYCO, that was my team the first train. Lionel was my brother (Lionel is one of the most common indicators of large-scale or regular). N scale is usually smaller scales.

model train is a lot of planning and patience, but once you see the finished product, the work is paying off. You should plan the number of trains that will run such a scale that is best for you, how you want your design, the number of switches is needed if you want passenger trains or goods, just for starters.

Accessories should also be planned. Have to cross signals, buildings (of goods or station passenger, water tower, travel iron buildings, etc), lights, cars, people and animals, homes and businesses, telephone poles, etc. You will also to plan the landscaping and wiring (for trains and accessories or work), need more than one power supply, because if you run more trains, will a separate power packs to operate each train, and a separate power source for accessories.

The general landscape consists of trees, shrubs, shrubs, bedding track, roads, tunnels, and if you want to be creative, mountains and rivers. (You do not really need water, they may be angry with resin and hardener).

I am running two freight trains on a layout of 8 x 8, with 3 power supplies, switches 4 tracks, several buildings and houses, and dreams still has a huge model that will make people look in amazement. Even thought my train, which also require maintenance. Motors to be oiled to keep them at their best (only that there is no oil on the track).

There is much to learn about model railroading. I learn something new every day!

When I started in model railways, found this book to be useful. I looked http://ziprl.com/mdl-tn-hlp, is one of the great books I helped start. I m 'happy to keep updating their editions.

I good luck to all my best wishes for your model railroad can be very rewarding for you and your family.

Happy model railroading!
