Is 5 Years Too Young for 00 Scale Rail Set?
I can remember sooooo wanting one of these when I was that age. My wife and I are arguing now about it. Our son started school in August and is very advanced. He is interested in cars and trains. I was never as interested in cars as he is, yet he can pick specific makes and models of cars.
He has loads of wooden railway track and my wife wants to get him more. But I think he’s ready for a proper model train set. My wife is reluctant as she says it is too old for him. However, I am not going by his actual age but the maturity and realisation he shows. He is interested in mechanical things and I’ve tried to facilitate this as much as I can.
What do we do? Should be leave the 00 train set for now or get him one for Christmas?
No way is he too young. I got my first real train set on my first Christmas.
Definitely get him one.
