A question for model train collectors?
My boyfriend loves model trains and trainspotting. I want to paint him a train for valentine’s day in watercolours… he only likes modern trains, from late eighties onwards. When I asked him what his favourite was he said he liked them all.
What type of train should I paint for him? I really wanted a personal present for him and I think he’d appreciate it, especially since I don’t know the first thing about trains. Much appreciated. xx
you can head out to a spotting location with him and snap a photo
of a train
take it home and paint your gift from the photo as most trains are not going to hang around while you paint them
you can easily tell which trains he likes by watching his expression as it approaches
snap the ones he’s all exited over and have a friend pick the best of your photos so your BF has no clue what he’s about to get
to make it even more memorible pick a photo with him in the shot
and paint him too
