MLM Opportunities For Those Serious About MLM
Do most people fail at MLM opportunities? The answer is yes. Do most people think MLM is a scam? The answer is also ….yes. First, lets take a close look at the MLM industry and why human beings might feel like they need to be oppossed to it.
Both industries are shaped like a pyramid. A pyramid shape is not the problem. A pyramid shape is the shape of a traditional company too. It is also the appearance of every organizational structure known to man. All companies are based on the law of management. The principle of management says that if you want to get more done, you’re going to have to hire people. The normal illustration is someone at the top with multiple people or workers beneath them, and multiple workers beneath them, each level down making less than the level above. This is only in Traditional Companies, not MLM. Unlike customary company organizations, in MLM everyone has the same volume to gain. Unfortunately, this is not true in usual business models, particularly a delegative common corporate structure.
Lets take a look at both industries side by side.
Both industries have huge office buildings and/or sky scrapers. Both industries also have a CEO, a President, a Vice President, Middle Management and Staff.
Weird huh? To many, yes. That is because MLM has been slammed so many times in the media that its hard to count. Why does the television slam MLM? Why do magazines and publications write counteractive articles on MLM? The answer is simple. The answer is so simple after you read it you will fall out of your chair (if your sitting). Ready??
Because the television doesn’t owe MLM any favors. What favors? That’s a good question, and here again is another valid answer: MLM doesn’t pay publications and media channels to endorse their business. Why? Because all it’s products are procured through its network of distributors. Therefore MLM, direct marketing or network marketing not at any time has to pay a dime to any paper or magazine, TV station, Radio station or e-zine.
However, traditional companies DO HAVE TO PAY pay enormous amounts of money to advertise through these channels don’t they? Their business model absolutely depends on it. And the media absolutely depends on THAT. Which the by-product of is ‘advertising’.
The CEO’s of the magazines get paid quite a bit for a full page ad in their widely circulated publication right? I mean we are talking about 10′s of thousands per month per ad here. That’s some serious dough! And of course it’s also good to keep in mind that it’s never a good idea to bad mouth your customers.
So if say a company like Merck pharmeceuticals has a drug like Vioxx recalled, the newsletter that is running Mercks ads will be relectant to write any negative articles about Merck-even if it’s true. And if they do, they might write an editorial with an aim to minimize the fact that the drug Vioxx killed 200,000 people. Or, they might not run any articles at all.
After all, if you were the administrator for the ‘Magazine’ would you want to lose a big client like Merck by running negative articles telling the truth? NO WAY. So in a traditional company your media channels for advertising like TV, Radio, Publications will tend to be biased and not necessarily honest about everything you do. They won’t bad mouth you because they don’t want to lose your monthly support of $100,000 USD per month (quite understandable-but a little unethical).
Now, since MLM companies do not have $100,000 per month/year subscriptions with hardly any publications, TV, or Radio those media sources don’t really owe anything to MLM. They can say and strike off whatever they want about it. And they do. A lot.
Most of the journalists that author about MLM write bad articles deliberately because MLM doesn’t support the business model that buys their advertising. It’s that simple. So it really is all about MONEY. Because if everyone operated as an MLM, then TV stations, Radio, and Print Publications would go out of business quicker than a fox down a hole. So they protect their investments/clients by filtering out the bad bulletin about them so the money can keep rolling in every month.
So……….
Since the media is the general publics channel source for information regarding any companies credibility, then the public becomes imbibed with the idea that whatever the media says is the truth. After all, the reporter on the evening news doesn’t and shouldn’t care about MLM if they want to keep their job at the home office. Remember, MLM doesn’t pay anyone to publicize for the purpose of selling or causing one to want, so the advertisers above can and do and say whatever they want.
They might even throw in a counterfeit story or two about a person who had a bad experience with an MLM company just so they can re-enforce their point to the general public which is “They are all just pyramid schemes that are going to rip you off”. And if it makes the 6 o’clock news, most people will unreflexively buy it hook, line and sinker. Again, not good for MLM, and just another exaggerated lie from biased media sources.
Remember, the media has to slam MLM because MLM DOES NOT SUPPORT THE BUSINESS MODEL THAT PAYS THEIR RENT!
So the next time you ‘hear’ or ‘read’ something annulling about MLM, remember what was discussed above. It’s surprising how far a little discernment will go when you take off the blinders of the media. The media doesn’t work for the community. They work for themselves…..and other people that line their ad coffers.
One more thing!…………….
The bulky difference between MLM’s and Traditional Companies is that Traditional Companies like Nike like to pay celebrities like Tiger Woods BILLIONS to support and deal in their products.
Question: What does Tiger Woods bring to the buyer of goods in terms of value? Not much. I don’t really care about Tiger Woods. So, instead of giving it to Tiger, MLM Companies pay BILLIONS to the distributors instead. MLM is not a get rich quick thing either.
That’s something else the media has helped keep alive. It takes work and dedication normally for about 3 to 5 years and then your done. And when I say done, I mean DONE. Retire and do whatever- whenever you want. True story, I did.
Essentially there are 10 qualities that one must possess to make an effective presentation.
